The company undertook the design and development of the first of a number of environmentally friendly stores for a major retail organisation including such initiatives as solar lights, northern lights, wind turbines, rain water harvesting, cold air retrieval, lighting and environment management and are currently involved in several projects which are utilising the use of CHP energy centres in tandem with alternative fuel boilers.
The company are fully aware and are committed to full compliance with the energy reduction and reusable energy requirements of the latest building regulations, (L2), and have gone through the process and meet the requirements as set to achieve ISO 14001 in September 2008.
Essex Services Group Plc are continually striving to reduce carbon footprints through out its designs and installations and are putting forward the use of lighting with reduced wattage output whilst maintaining the required illumination levels, CHP, bio fuel plant, reusable energy's, solar energy, (where practicable), and rain water harvesting
